Mini Park is a 3 acre neighborhood park located off Tenaha Street, behind the Booth Memorial Library. Mini Park has a sprayground, playground equipment, open lawn space, picnic areas, two pavilions, one baseball field, and four tennis courts.
Center Park, the newest addition to the Center park system, is a 45 acre community park located off Roughrider Drive. Center Park includes six baseball and softball fields, playground equipment, a fishing pond with a pier, one pavilion, picnic areas, a quarter mile multi-use trail, and a concession area with restroom facilities.

Sabine National Forest
Located in the piney woods of East Texas, the 160,656-acre Sabine National Forest is the easternmost of the four national forests in Texas and forms part of the boundary between Texas and Louisiana. The forest is situated on the western slopes of the Sabine River watershed within Sabine, San Augustine, Shelby, Jasper, and Newton counties.
Toledo Bend Reservoir is a reservoir on the Sabine River between Texas and Louisiana. The lake has an area of 185,000 acres, the largest man-made body of water in (or partially in) Louisiana, the largest in the South, and the fifth largest in the United States.
